SUNDAY MARCH 12th | 9:00am
Rip up 7 miles of cactus lined singletrack. This point to point downhill race begins at Pemberton and Coachwhip, finishing in the venue. There aren’t any shuttles. Suck it up buttercup. All riders will need to ride to the starting line, don’t be late.
7:00am – Race Course is closed to the public and OPEN for practice laps
9:00am – Course cleared of practice riders and FIRST START begins
Riders will be assigned a start time and separated by 30 second intervals
Riders will go off time trial style in 30 sec intervals. Start times will be assigned and posted at race registration beginning on Friday March 10th.
Riders will start on Pemberton trail just south of Coachwhip.
HOW TO GET TO THE START (~7 miles from venue – vehicles not allowed on trail): From the venue ride up the paved McDowell Mountain Road to where Pemberton trail crossing the road (1.9 miles). There will be signage to direct riders. Turn left on Pemberton trail and ride approx. 0.8 miles to Tonto Tank trail. Turn right on Tonto Tank and ride up 2.7 miles to Pemberton trail. Turn left on Pemberton and ride 1 mile. The starting line is just past the intersection of Pemberton and Coachwhip intersection.
